Welcome to Brannon Studio on Peach Alley, located in historic Milford, Pennsylvania, along the Upper Delaware River.

My career with the US Forest Service instilled in me a love of trees - both their beauty and utility.   I think of woodturning as a continuation of my work in forest conservation - through wise use of natural resources.

I prefer to work with wood that has a connection to place, such as wood from the historic Pinchot Estate in Milford.   I see woodturning as a way of perpetuating a tree's utility and beauty.

I am a Senior Fellow of the Pinchot Institute for Conservation and the Forest History Society.  As a member of the American Association of Woodturners, I participate in my local Chapter, the Water Gap Woodturners.  I am a member of the Board of Directors of Peters Valley School of Craft.
